Welcome to Leadership Benton County
Benton County has been blessed with a wealth of financial, physical and human resources, but we sometimes tend to take for granted the future of our area by simply assuming that the appropriate leadership talent will emerge to guide us whenever we need it. Leadership Benton County was developed to serve as the training ground for our future leaders. The keys to our future are knowledgeable and skilled leaders, willing to step to the forefront, who have an awareness and understanding of all facets of our community, including government, business, education, recreation, utilities, infrastructure, housing, health care, social services and more.
Leadership Benton County seeks to promote and develop dynamic community leaders for Benton County, while uniting a diverse group of people; to expose and educate while promoting a regional view of the area; to provide opportunities to learn, enhance and apply leadership skills; to provide a forum to offer solutions and alternatives to community needs and concerns.
The Bentonville / Bella Vista, Rogers - Lowell, and Siloam Springs Chambers have had an outstanding Leadership program on their own or together as Leadership Benton County for 25 years. Based upon surveys we conducted of members of the past 4 Leadership classes, we believe it is important that our program provides participants with unparalleled and innovative experiences, including: connecting people to their communities, the region, and new leadership development opportunities. Therefore, we have decided to take the next program year (2016 – 2017) off and put a major effort into revitalizing and improving Leadership Benton County. We ask for your patience and your participation in the process. As we hold focus groups, we hope that you will let us know if you would like to be involved. Just contact any of the three Chamber CEO’s. Look for an announcement and a new application to apply to this program by May 1, 2017.
